As the information the Jio Money Wallet will be close and will be transferred to Payments Bank Account. Because as per the RBI guidelines every wallet they must verify with the KYC documents.

In today's time there are many banks that were introduced like Airtel Payments Bank, Paytm Payments Bank and were the other banks were offering the customers to make the account from the mobile with in their app by verifying their KYC documents from online.

Jio Payments Bank Limited has commenced operations as a payments bank with effect from April 3, 2018. The Reserve Bank has issued a licence to the bank under Section 22 (1) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to carry on the business of payments bank in India.

Reliance Industries Limited, Mumbai was one of the 11 applicants which were issued in-principle approval for setting up a payments bank, as announced in the press release on August 19, 2015.

According Latest SMS Received From Reliance JIO Official to Users stated “JioMoney account will be transferred from Reliance Payment Solutions Ltd to Jio Payments Bank Ltd on 14.03.2018“. Yet to confirm this message sent by jio official or not.

Reliance Jio, the telecom services provider has extended the period for its subscribers to sign up for its Membership program up to Apr 15.

Extended Till "April 15"

The extension comes at the end of a hectic day as millions of people tried to enroll themselves for the loyalty program on the final day of the offer period.

The company also said it acquired 72 million users under the loyalty program and that it will offer three months of service free.

“Every PRIME member, when they make their first paid recharge prior to 15 th  April using Jio’s Rs 303 plan (or any higher value plan), will get services for the initial 3 months on a complimentary basis.

The paid tariff plan will be applied only in July, after the expiry of the complimentary service. The Jio Summer Surprise is the first of many surprises for PRIME members,” it said.

WhatsApp rolled out Snap chat like Status update last month but the feature was not well received by users and many of them requested to bring back the old status update with simple text. It looks like WhatsApp is all set to bring back the old status update. WhatsApp Android beta has received an update that sees revival of the old status message feature.

The WhatsApp Android beta version 2.17.95 now lets you keep simple text and emoji based status messages which will stay as long you want it to stay and not disappear after 24 hours.  You can tap the three dots on top right corner and check out Settings. After you tap on your phone, you will see ‘About and phone number’. The usual set of default status messages are back and you can choose from, including Available, Busy, At work and more.

In the latest update, WhatsApp has redesigned Chat screen user interface and moved Attachment button to the bottom side along with camera button. Now, at the bottom, you will have Smiley, Typing box, attachment, camera and voice recorder. Please look at the above screenshot.

With Copy Less you can go back to your conversation and type “it’s at,” as Google already knows what you were searching for, you will get an automatically generated suggestion in G board with the restaurant’s address. You can just tap it, and the keyboard will populate the text box with the address, which you can send with the send button.

• Second feature Google is expected to be working for it's upcoming Android 'O' is that automatically identify a piece of text as an address and turn it into a link that you can tap on to launch Google Maps.

• Third feature is seems to be a gesture that can be used by just performing some quick actions. Currently many OEMs are providing these features by drawing anything on the screen to perform individual tasks or opening an app.

Note: All these features are just reports as of now and they might come in Android 'O' might not or might arrive with a bit of change in them.

According to a report on News World India, Reliance JiO is likely to launch the country's cheapest 4G VoLTE smartphone sometime in early next year. The Mukesh Ambhani telecom venture will reportedly launch the smartphone in the range of Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500.While Reliance Jio is yet to comment on the buzz, reports suggest that the phone will be powered by a Sprectrum 9820 processor. The smartphone is also expected to boast of a good quality camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and decently large display, the report added. Reliance already has the LYF range of 4G-enabled smartphones that start from Rs 2,999.


Reliance Jio may launch Rs 1000 Lyf phone with 4G VoLTE, free calls

Reliance Jio's Lyf phones have been selling in India for quite some months now, however, the company still needs to tap the rural and tier-III markets for its data services and mobile business. According to a report by Economic Times, Jio may soon launch a series of feature phones with 4G VoLTE support. The phones could be priced as low as Rs 1,000.

The report said that Jio may try to reach out to the consumers who are first-time data users in rural areas. Jio wants to tap all the segments in the country and sees huge potential in the rural areas, which it now aims to tap with VoLTE feature phones,said the report.

There will be two feature phones, if the report is to be believed, priced at around Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500. Reliance may launch these phones in the first quarter of 2017. Although these are feature phones, meaning there will be no touchscreen, they will be able to run 4G data and will be capable of accessing internet.

The cheapest 4G-enabled smartphone at present is sold at around Rs 3000, and a huge slice of the market is still based on feature phones. With the launch of such feature phones, Reliance Jio will be able to offer the affordability of a feature phone with 4G VoLTE technology along with free voice calls.

According to IDC s Q3 report on Indian smartphone market, "The 4G smartphone shipments grew 24.8 per cent over previous quarter in CY Q3 2016. Rollout of Reliance Jio network has further increased the share of 4G enabled smartphones in India. 7 out of 10 smartphone shipped in Q3 2016 were 4G enabled and 9 out of 10 smartphone sold by eTailers were 4G."

Reliance Jio holds 5th position in the Indian smartphone market with a total of 7 per cent, which is a 20.9 per cent growth over previous quarters. We expect these numbers to go up in the coming months, when Reliance Jio commercially launches its 4G services along with other new services.
